Lindsay Lohan hosted NBC’s Saturday Night Live on March 3rd. Lohan happened to have the biggest audience from this season (so far) only behind the day the show had Charles Barkley as the special guest/host.

Lilo’s acting comeback tentative wasn’t actually well-received by most critics with her opening monologue being treated as cold and probably the worst moment of the night, Lohan, however, said to be proud of the result regardless of what people thought saying she did the best she could’ve done.

If you are in the United States, you can stream Lilo’s appearances on the show at SNL’s official website.

Lindsay Lohan will appear on The Today Show on NBC this Thursday (March 1). She got her interview taped to air on the show. Added 4 stills from the interview to our gallery:

MSNBC: In an exclusive interview set to air on TODAY Show on Thursday morning (March 1), Lindsay Lohan tells Matt Lauer that she is “clean and sober” and she wants “to continue to move forward and in the right direction.”

The actress, who will host “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, also told Lauer, “I still need to go through the process of proving myself.”

Lohan, 25, is one court appearance away from putting her legal troubles from a 2007 drunken driving case behind her.

Lauer asked her if, when they spoke last, the actress was in denial.

“Definitely,” Lohan said. “And I think it was — it’s a scary thing to have to kind of express to people … I wasn’t as comfortable with myself then. I think it was a fear factor that I had about what was really going on. And, you know, I had to get that wakeup call.”

Lohan also told Lauer that the temptation of night life and parties is something she’s avoiding.

“That’s not my thing anymore. I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn’t fun for me. I’ve become more of a homebody. And I like that.”

It may be that change in lifestyle, or at the least the perception that there has been a change, that will help the actress get back to work.

“Do you think people have gotten back, or can get back to the point where they trust you?” Lauer asked. “In other words, professional people? You know, if they say to you, ‘Come host ‘Saturday Night Live’,’ that’s a big commitment. And do you think the producers and directors of movies and television projects are going to get back to the part where they can go, ‘You know what? Yeah, we can count on Lindsay. We can bank on her?’”

“I think that that’s gonna take — I think that takes time,” Lohan said. “And I think that it’s actions. Because people can say things all they want, but I think I still need to go through the process of proving myself, you know, with ‘SNL,’ being on time, being, you know, keeping my — can’t say the word — but stuff together.”

Lohan offers details on reports that she’s set to play Elizabeth Taylor in her next project.

“We’re in the middle of casting and figuring — we start production soon,” Lohan said. “I’ve been doing tons of research. But I’ve always kind of researched her. She’s always been a fascinating woman to me. So I’m really honored. And I will not let anyone down, especially myself.”

Asked about that need to qualify her commitment, Lohan says she understands how it might be scary for people to invest in her.

“I don’t want people to have that reason to be scared anymore. So being able to have this opportunity with ‘SNL’ and the film, I’m gonna do what I’m supposed to do, and enjoy doing it, and do it as best as I can.”

Tune into TODAY on Thursday, March 1, to watch Matt Lauer’s exclusive interview with Lindsay Lohan.

AndPop.com:In May of this year, Lindsay Lohan signed on for a sex-episode run on Ugly Betty, her first appearance being last season’s finale on May 22. Lohan played Kimmie, an old schoolmate of America Ferrara’s character, Betty Suarez.

Lohan was set to guest in five more episodes this season. But, the latest news is that Lohan’s appearance in the series has been cut from six episodes to four. Next week’s episode is the last episode that was written, shot and edited for Lohan.

“Inside sources” are claiming that Lohan is more interested in playing herself. Further, the New York Post reported that a bout of misbehaviour – including trashing her dressing room and a pantsing incident – caused her to be dropped from the show. Apparently, this week’s episode involved Lohan’s character pantsing Betty; but, when Ferrera in turn did the same to Lohan, Lohan was…fully revealed, Britney-style. Another bizarre incident was reported in which Lohan obsessively cut out pictures of herself from tabloids

A source from Lohan’s camp says these stories aren’t true.

Other sources are reporting that the cut is the result of a simple girl vs. girl on-set rivalry. Maybe Lohan was jealous that Ferrera’s character could have coloured elastics on her braces…That’s what happens when you pair a Mean Girl with an Ugly Betty.

Fans just can’t get enough of Lindsay Lohan!

The actress is returning to Ugly Betty as Kimberly, Betty’s high school nemesis, next week to shoot her ongoing guest stint for the show’s third season, premiering Sept. 25 on ABC.

Executive Producer Silvio Horta says she expects Lindsay to make another surprise set entrance.

“She did a half-day last season and she came early,” he tells OK!. “She was 45 minutes early. I was impressed.”

Horta admits that one of the reasons he cast Lindsay, who approached him for a role, was because he was fascinated by the headlining starlet.

“Lindsay brings a reputation, but I’ve always loved her,” he says. “I just wanted to meet her, to be in a room with her and see what this is all about.”

He says he recognizes that Lindsay has dealt with her past demons. “She fell into whatever the typical traps of stardom [are], ” he says. “I think this is a real great opportunity for her. I’m really excited.”
